Stay hidden from ghosts in Pac-Man

In the original Pac-Man arcade cabinet, there's a spot under the T-bar where the ghosts can't harm you. Apparently, this is a test to see if the Pac-Man is the original code or a newer recoded version.

I tried this in the Xbox Live Arcade version, and it works. The only thing I noticed was that you have to enter the spot from the bottom and be facing upward (like in the video). If you enter from the right (AKA facing left), you'll die within seconds.
